Arrey Elementary School gifted with book vending machine

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Arrey Elementary received a gift of a book vending machine filled with bilingual books. Molina Healthcare, the Rotary Club and Rebecca Dow worked together to make the gift a possibility for the Arrey Elementary.

The goal of the vending machine is to inspire students to read for enjoyment and entertainment. Students can earn tokens for the vending machine through Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS). Students can then use these tokens to select a book of their preference from the vending machine. The goal is to build a love for reading for students when they read for enjoyment.
