Two charged with stealing Infiniti, running from police

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say a man in a stolen Infiniti ran from police twice Saturday, dropping a wallet, cell phone and pink tote with an AK-style pistol inside before he was arrested along with another man.
Saturday afternoon at 3, officers spotted a black Infiniti G37X with fake Arkansas tags on Sycamore View. When they went to make contact, the man inside bolted.

An officer chased after the suspect, who at one point fell and dropped the wallet, phone and gun. He then got into a black Maxima and sped away.
Police traced the Maxima to an apartment complex on Sawmill Drive in Raleigh.
They say the suspect from the chase, identified as Brendan Parson, and the driver of the Maxima, Maher Osman, ran off into the woods.

Parson was caught after a brief chase. It took a police dog to find Osman.
Inside the Maxima, police say they found a bag containing a bill of sale and a fake title to the stolen Infiniti.
15-year-old charged with murder after shooting at South Memphis store
Brendan Parson was charged with Criminal Attempt to Wit: Theft Of Property $2,500- $10,000, Evading Arrest to wit: Foot Pursuit, and Theft of Property (Motor Vehicles) to wit: $2,500 - $10,000. His bond was set at $5,000.
Maher Osman was charged with Forgery, Theft of Property (Motor Vehicles) to wit: Motor Vehicle ($2,500 - $10,000), Criminal Attempt to wit: Theft of Property $2,500 - $10,000, Evading Arrest to wit: Vehicle Pursuit, and Evading Arrest to wit: Foot Pursuit. His bond was set at $5,000
Jail records indicated Parson's bond had been paid by Monday afternoon.
