MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man accused in a drive-by shooting in Oxford, Mississippi last week was taken into custody.
According to the Oxford Police Department, around 3:48 p.m. on October 31, officers responded to a report of gunfire at a home on Hurricane Lane. Police say the car parked in the driveway of the home appeared to have been hit by gunfire multiple times.
No one was injured in the shooting.

A search warrant was obtained and executed on Hervey's home leading to his arrest. Investigators reportedly found a handgun matching a gun that was reported stolen, which they say was consistent with the type of gun used in the shooting on Hurricane Lane.
He is being held at the Lafayette County Detention Center on charges of drive-by shooting and possession of a stolen firearm.
