Investigation underway after argument leads to shooting in Oshkosh, police asking public for any information

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - Oshkosh Police are investigating a shooting where a vehicle was hit during the incident, though it was not connected to anyone involved.
A Facebook post from the Oshkosh Police Department says that on Friday, November 1, officers responded to a report of gunshots in the 800 block of Oregon Street, where multiple residents said they heard gunshots.
Officers determined that an argument erupted between a group of people in a vehicle and a pedestrian, leading the pedestrian to start shooting at the vehicle.

Gunshots did not hit the vehicle directly, but instead, an unrelated occupied vehicle was, according to the release. No one was reportedly injured during the shooting.
Oshkosh law enforcement is still investigating this incident and asks that anyone with information contact the police department and check security cameras to find any available footage. Those with information are asked to call authorities at 920-236-5700.
