CHARLOTTE, N.c. — The spokesperson for the area Fraternal Order of Police says not only have Officers not received their vests, they have not even been fitted for them. It’s been three months since the decision to allow the outer vests. Staff at the area Fraternal Order of Police say Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings has retaliated by shutting out the FOP and silencing officers. WCCB has requested the number of outer vests given to officers and have not heard back.
