BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Five people, including four teenagers, were arrested Sunday after a stolen vehicle was involved with a shots fired incident in Buffalo and then fled from police, Buffalo police announced. Authorities said just after midnight on Sunday, a Dodge Durango was reported stolen out of a restaurant's parking lot at Jefferson Avenue and East Ferry Street. At 12:45 p.m. that day, officers responded to a shots fired incident at the foot of Hertel Avenue. A description of the vehicle involved matched the vehicle that was reported stolen. Officials said an uninvolved vehicle was struck by a fleeing vehicle at this time. The stolen vehicle was located around 3 p.m. on Donovan Drive and when officers attempted a traffic stop with lights and sirens, the vehicle fled and almost struck officers, according to police. After the attempt, the vehicle then allegedly drove recklessly at a high rate of speed and did not comply with commands. Police said the vehicle eventually stopped on the 800 block of Humboldt Parkway where five occupants allegedly fled from the vehicle. They were then apprehended without further incident. According to officials, a loaded Glock with an extended magazine was recovered. Three 16-year-old males, a 17-year-old female, and Amere Brock, 21, of Buffalo, were all charged with the following: second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, one count third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, one count third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, one count unauthorized use of a vehicle, one count Brock was also charged with one count of unlawful fleeing of a police officer.
