ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque is getting more than $100,000 from PNM for its use of clean energy in city transit. Officials say the money is going right back into sustainable energy efforts. City officials say those rebate checks are being reinvested into renewable energy project in the metro. Officials say the Transportation Electrification Program has led to the installation of more than 600 EV chargers across the PNM service area, saving an estimated 200,000 gallons of gas.
