(WGHP) — It is officially time for the long-awaited FOX8 winter weather predictions! Forecasters are expecting a La Niña winter this year. This means that the jet stream, which controls the flow of cooler and wetter air, will be further off to the north. As a result, North Carolina is expected to be drier and warmer.
