DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — As the two major candidates for U.S. President focus on North Carolina ahead of Tuesday's general election, the First Lady plans to visit a Triangle city. Former President Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, and Vice-President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, are both in North Carolina on Saturday. Trump's campaign said he plans to visit the state every day before Tuesday. Trump, Harris campaigns hit North Carolina as Election Day draws near  Now, Democratic Party officials say that President Joe Biden's wife, Dr. Jill Biden, will visit Durham on Monday. Few details have been announced but information about the event said it will happen sometime between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. The event said it is a "canvass launch" featuring Dr. Jill Biden. More information is expected to be released a day before the event, according to campaign officials. Those wishing to attend can register to attend the free event.
