KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Kershaw County coroner has identified the missing hunter, said the coroner’s office.
911 received a call around 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, about a missing hunter.
The missing hunter who was identified as 25-year-old Dalton Jordan, was found off of Flat Rock Road.
The coroner’s office said he was pronounced dead at the scene from apparent gunshot wound.
An autopsy is set for Monday, Nov. 4, at the Newberry Medical Center.
Jordan’s death is still under investigation by Kershaw County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Department of Natural Resource.
