ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Fire crews were called to a barn fire in the Town of Ontario Thursday night. Courtesy: Dave Gaspar Reports of a barn fire on Hopewell Drive came out around 7 p.m. News 8 arrived on scene and saw the large barn burnt up with heavy damage. Dozens of firefighters were there to assess the damages, as well as two ambulances. Fire officials said the barn was a total loss. An RV close to the barn has also been deemed a total loss after sustaining damages from the fire. Investigators are still working to determine how the blaze sparked. Officials confirmed no one was hurt, and there were no animals inside of the barn. No other structures were damaged.
