ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Residents in the City of Rochester are encouraged to take part in a new survey that will help officials update the city's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan.
The city's survey, which can be accessed here, primarily targets folks with disabilities and organizations/loved ones who work with people with disabilities but welcomes input from anyone within the community. It includes several issues related to accessibility, including permit applications, fines, recreational programs and public issues.
The survey officially closes Nov. 27. The results will become public record, though the city ensured that names and contact information will not be published to protect the privacy of participants.
Should anyone need the survey in a different format, language or if they have questions, inquiries can be emailed to [email protected].
