Candidates vying to represent California's 13th District for the next two years, Rep. John Duarte (R) and former California Assembly Member Adam Gray (D), faced off in a televised debate just 5 days before Election Day. The two candidates made their case to voters on a number of major topics in the district, including the economy, water rights, homelessness and high-speed rail. The race is a rematch of the 2022 race, when the two candidates competed for the same seat in a race that was the second-closest House race in that election and took three and a half weeks before a winner was determined. Let us know who you think won the debate in the poll below: Who do you think won the #CA13Debate between @Duarte4Congress and @AdamGrayCA?— FOX40 News (@FOX40) November 1, 2024 You can watch the full debate between Duarte and Gray in the video player above.
