Man stabbed, two arrested in Slidell attempted carjacking

ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Two men are in jail and another was hospitalized after an attempted carjacking in the Slidell area.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office reported that on Wednesday, Oct. 30, deputies were alerted of a man arriving at a hospital suffering from stab wounds.

The man told detectives that he was working in his yard around 12 p.m. when a man, 17-year-old Kemond Crawford, approached him asking to borrow a bike.
The victim said he instead offered to give Crawford a ride to a Slidell Manor Subdivision home.

During the drive, detectives said they picked up 17-year-old Ca'ryane Anderson.
STPSO deputies said when they got to the home, Crawford allegedly began to stab the victim. Detectives said the two then got out and the victim was able to drive to a hospital suffering from stab wounds to his head and neck.

With the victim's description, Crawford and Anderson were located, arrested and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correction Center.
They each are facing charges of attempted second-degree murder and attempted carjacking.
