18 additional polling centers open Friday
Oct 31, 2024
(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — The El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office will open 18 more Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPC), on Friday, November 1.
These locations will also be open Saturday, Nov. 2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing an in-person voting option for voters who work during the week. An additional 14 locations will open Monday, Nov. 4, as part of the last phase, bringing the total number of available VSPCs to 38. All locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 4 and 5.
The primary purposes of a Voter Center are to register new voters, update voter registrations, and issue ballots to voters that did not receive one in the mail. Voter Centers also offer ADA ballot marking devices for individuals with disabilities. If a voter prefers to vote in person, they can visit a Voter Center and receive a paper ballot to vote and deposit, or they can drop their completed mail ballot off in person. All ballots, whether mail ballot or in person are processed in the same manner.

If you voted your mailed ballot, you can drop it at any of El Paso County's 41 secure 24/7 drop-boxes.
The Clerk’s Office expects turnout for the General Election to be extremely high at 90%. Voters are asked to vote their mail ballot early and return it at one of the 41 secure 24/7 ballot drop boxes throughout the county. Locations and maps are available at www.epcvotes.com.
Early ballot returns will help the Election staff keep pace with processing Election Night Results Reporting in a timely manner.
