Oct 31, 2024
FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Voters across Kentucky are heading to the polls with some key decisions on this year’s ballot. Alongside the race for the U.S. President, Kentuckians will vote for state Senate and House seats, as well as a Kentucky Supreme Court justice.
Two constitutional amendments are also on the ballot. The first, Amendment One, is a yes-or-no vote on whether to amend the state constitution to prohibit non-U.S. citizens from voting in Kentucky. The second, Amendment Two, proposes adding a section to the constitution that would allow the state government to allocate public tax dollars to support schools outside of the public school system.
In Fayette County, voters will also decide on Urban Council seats, three school board positions, and a park fund referendum. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5.
