Packers players join kids in Hobart for Pals Play 60 Night

HOBART, Wis. (WFRV) - A pair of Packers players joined at Synergy Sports Performance in Hobart on Tuesday evening to help a large group of kids be active.
As part of the Pals Program-Packers Play 60 Night, quarterback Malik Willis and running back Ellis Merriweather spent time with the kids to run football drills and other athletic activities.

About 70 kids are in the Pals Program, where volunteers work with kids from ages 3-17 in recreational/learning activities. Each kid has been referred by the Brown County Child Protective Services.
"It's a big blessing that we get to come out here and do something like this," Willis said. "These guys are so excited to see us and have so much fun when we're out here. More than anything it's a responsibility to come out here when I have the opportunity."

The program is designed to help children adjust to family changes, enhance self-esteem and learn a variety of new skills.
