INDIANAPOLIS -- A Pendleton man under indictment for impersonation of a public servant was arrested earlier this month on an additional impersonation charge, as well as multiple handgun-related charges. According to a post on the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department's Facebook page, detectives with the Indiana Crime Guns Task Force was alerted to an individual, later identified as 24-year-old Jonathan Becker, who had an outstanding warrant out of Hancock County for unlawful carrying of a handgun on Oct. 25. Washington St. The post read that the truck had "amber and white lights activated, along with a spotlight displaying red and white flashing lights similar to those on police vehicles." Becker reportedly unlawfully conducted a traffic stop on an unmarked vehicle that was being driven by an IMPD sergeant in September 2023.
