MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead, days after he was struck by a driver while crossing a downtown street in an electric mobility scooter, Memphis Police said.
Police are looking for the driver who hit him, then drove away without helping.
The crash happened at 5 a.m. Oct. 14 on Danny Thomas Boulevard near Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
The victim was taken to Regional One with critical injuries, but died Saturday.
No information is available on the driver or the vehicle, but police are investigating.
