(WFRV) - Authorities in Manitowoc County say one man was recently arrested on multiple charges including theft, criminal damage to property, and trespassing. According to a release from the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office, Mark L. Plagemann was arrested by deputies on October 23 following a three-week-long investigation into a series of copper thefts. One person hurt after shots fired at a BP gas station in Wisconsin, Sheriff’s Office investigating Deputies say the investigation revealed that Plagemann was allegedly involved in the trespassing and theft of $30,000 worth of copper wire from a local business. On October 24, Plagemann was said to attend a bail hearing for charges of theft, trespassing, criminal damage to property, and possession of burglarious tools along with an enhancer of habitual criminality. During the hearing, officials say bail was set at $2,500 and Plagemann will also be held in custody for a probation violation.
