Unified Fire in Salt Lake City responded to a tractor-trailer that struck the concrete barrier, rolled and caught fire on westbound I-80 in Parleys Canyon a mile east of the South Quarry before 7:30 a.m.Fire officials said two passengers were transported with non-lethal injuries and the fire was out.A UDOT alert said the westbound lanes could be closed until as late as 10 p.m. through Parley’s Canyon, and traffic was being diverted.HazMat crews remained on the scene, Unified Fire said.    The post Big rig crash closes 1-80 west through Parley’s Canyon appeared first on Park Record.
