WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has identified the 16-year-old boy who was shot and killed in Southeast D.C. on Friday afternoon. According to MPD, at around 4:15 p.m., officers responded to the 2800 block of Langston Place for reports of gunshots. There, they found a man and a 16-year-old boy who had been shot. As of Saturday, the man was being treated for critical injuries. In an update on Saturday, police identified the boy as 16-year-old Darren Johnson of Southeast.
