MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Shelby County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating after a man was found shot to death in a car in Cordova. Patrol deputies were notified at about 7:18 a.m. that a man with a gunshot wound was found deceased inside a vehicle that had crashed into a fence off the road in the 9300 block of Macon Road, just east of Rebel Road. He was pronounced deceased on the scene by Shelby County Fire paramedics. Suspect in Ellie Young murder facing more charges from chase in Dyer County SCSO detectives say that this is an ongoing investigation. Macon Road is temporarily closed from Berryhill Road to Big Orange during this investigation.
