MOORE, Okla. (KFOR) — A semi-truck hauling a trailer filled with stolen TVs from Texas found its way into the hands of Moore and Oklahoma City police. According to Moore Police Department, Sgt. Justin Sternberg was given a tip about a semi-truck that might be hauling a trailer full of reported stolen TVs coming from Texas. The suspect allegedly forged a Bill of Lading in order to collect the property. LOCAL NEWS: Oklahoma drivers cautioned to keep watch for deer A Bill of Lading is a contract between both the shipper and carrier which serves as a receipt for the shipped goods and a document of title. Officer Sternberg as able to find and match the numbers associated with the detached trailer located near NE 27th Street. Moore and Oklahoma City Police Departments opened the trailer and found stacked pallets with over 150 televisions inside, worth more than $290,000 in total. Moore police say the manifest documented that the televisions were to be delivered to the east coast. The stolen property was given back to the company.
