(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado Springs School District 11 (D11) said the community has provided invaluable feedback on the renovation project at Palmer High School and the design team, is excited to share some design concepts at a public town hall on Monday, Oct. 28. According to D11, the public feedback has been extensive with feedback coming from a wide range of channels such as; workshops, digital communication, surveys, staff and student sessions, and community discussions. "This overwhelming participation is helping to shape a vision for Palmer High School that honors its rich history while fostering a forward-thinking, collaborative learning environment for future generations," writes D11. The design team energized by the participation will be sharing some design concepts for the school at a town hall at the Palmer High School auditorium from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday. D11 said attendees will have the chance to hear the results from the first phase of community engagement, view preliminary design concepts, and participate in discussions to provide additional input. D11 encourages the public to attend the town hall as the community's voice to guide the design team through the next phase of concept development.
