RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A person is dead following a car crash into a tree in Richmond early Friday morning. At around 1 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, Richmond Police officers were dispatched to Chamberlayne Avenue and School Street for a single-vehicle accident where the car crashed into a tree. According to police, a male, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
