TOPEKA (KSNT) - Thousands of Evergy customers in Topeka are impacted by area outages. According to the Evergy outage map, more than 1,500 customers in the capital city are without power. This comes as a severe thunderstorm moves across Kansas. KSNT 27 News spoke to an Evergy spokeswoman who said crews will be out working to restore power once the storm has passed, and it is safe to do so.
