BELLINGHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Bellingham Police Department said it arrested two men in connection with a shoplifting after they were involved in a motor vehicle crash. 22-year-old Yadriel Rodrigues and 23-year-old Jonavin Camacho, both of Woonsocket, were taken into custody on what the department said were “numerous charges.” Police responded to reports of a shoplifting involving two males who left the area in a car with a female passenger. Officers were able to stop the car, but one of the men shoved the male driver out of the car and drove off, with the female passenger jumping out of the car. The department said a pursuit was started but was terminated due to high speeds. The car was eventually involved in a crash, and the driver attempted to flee on foot before being taken into custody.
