In interviews Thursday afternoon, family members said the boy was grabbed by a masked man while watering the front lawn. The boy was able to break free and run home when the man went to make a phone call, family had said. But later Thursday, police issued a statement saying: "After further investigation, it was determined that this incident is not bona fide. The incident will be classified as unfounded."Police would not elaborate on how they knew the incident didn't happen but said the claims were "untruthful." The family did not respond to phone calls seeking additional comment Thursday night.
