ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office said it will move its trunk or treat from its downtown headquarters over a planned anti-police protest. It will now be held on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Public Safety Training Academy at 3801 Broadway Blvd. SE, north of Rio Bravo. This will be BCSO's second-ever trunk or treat and deputies will be on hand to pass out candy.

BCSO said its top priority is to ensure a safe environment for everyone and while they respect the right to protest, they moved the event so families and children aren't exposed to a potentially disruptive situation.
