(WGHP) -- Almost every political ad attacking Republican Mark Robinson mentions abortion.  But go to Robinson’s website, and he doesn’t address the issue there. His website lists 10 issues on which he has short descriptions of his stances, and they’re mostly traditional Republican issues like tax cuts, regulatory reform and workforce development with other issues like support for agriculture and a paragraph on the development of digital currency thrown in.  A And when he speaks about issues at campaign events, there isn’t much detail. He recites the basic concepts and his opinion of where his party stands on them. “We’re right on public safety. We’re right on public education. We’re right one healthcare. We’re right on infrastructure. We’re right on housing. We’re right on the border. We’re right on the national economy. We’re right on national security. We are right,” he told a crowd at a BBQ restaurant in Graham. He said his opponents, "are wrong about everything. Don’t believe me? Compare California to Florida. Compare New York to Texas.” As polls have begun heading in the wrong direction, Robinson has made himself more available to the media and strikes a more moderate demeanor as he talks about why he feels he can prevail in the election. “Folks are ready to end some of the things they’ve seen at the federal level: the high inflation, the wide open border ... Folks are ready for a change here in North Carolina ... at the governor’s mansion and at the council of state,” Robinson said. And although he doesn’t give specifics, he lists for voters at most stops the basics on which he says he is running. “Telling them about our vision for this state, how we want to partner with them to help build an economy that spans from Murphy to Manteo, talking to them about the five pillars that our economy is built on: public safety public education, safety, healthcare, infrastructure and housing,” Robinson said.
