Rochester trio accused of possessing $34,000 worth of drugs in St. Lawrence Co. stop

TOWN OF MORRISTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) - Three people from Rochester are accused of drug-related charges after a Tuesday afternoon traffic stop in St. Lawrence County.
In a press release from the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, three suspects were arrested after a traffic stop at 4 p.m. Tuesday on State Route 37 in the town of Morristown.

Authorities arrested 24-year-old Eban Sternia, 35-year-old Javier Gonzalez, and 25-year-old Brooke Johnston and charged them all with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
According to deputies, a subsequent search yielded nine ounces of cocaine and three ounces of fentanyl. The estimated street value of the drugs is $34,000 according to officials.
All three were arraigned in the Morristown Town Court and remanded without bail.
The St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, New York State Police, and U.S. Border Patrol assisted St. Lawrence County Sheriffs during the stop.
