(WNCN) — A typical Monday morning stop for coffee and a scratch-off uncovered the first $100,000 lottery prize in a new lottery game. "It woke me up for sure," said Dennis Pitt of Zebulon. Pitt said he scratched his ticket while he sipped his coffee. He said that he sat there looking at the ticket in shock and eventually called his wife. Pitt purchased his lucky $20 Win Big ticket from Eagles Express on Knightdale Boulevard in Knightdale. "I like playing new tickets when they come out," Pitt said. He collected his lottery prize at the lottery headquarters and after federal and state tax withholdings took home $71,506. The Win Big game debuted this month with three $2 million top prizes and six $100,000 prizes. Three $2 million prizes and five $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
