SPEEDWAY, Ind. - Officers with the Speedway Police Department are investigating a shooting that killed a man early Thursday morning. According to Speedway PD, around 12:15 a.m. officers were in the area of West 10th St. and North Norfolk St. when they heard several gunshots coming from the 1100 block of North Norfolk street. When officers were checking the area, they located a white vehicle with multiple bullet holes in the passenger side of the vehicle. Inside the vehicle, police reportedly found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers provided first aid until medical services arrived. Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Police has not given any information on a suspect or a motive for the shooting. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
