GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - As the Green Bay Packers prepare to face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, the community will come together for a special cause with the Salute to Service Party 2024. This event, dedicated to supporting local veterans, will take place on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Stadium View. Seeing more deer lately? Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says that’s because it’s peak breeding season Hosted by House of Honors, the fundraiser will feature a variety of activities, including veteran and military resource booths, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, swag bags, and kids' coloring contests. The event aims to provide an enjoyable day while raising funds and awareness for military support organizations. All current and former military members will receive free admission and two drink tickets as a token of appreciation for their service. Non-military attendees are encouraged to donate $10 for entry to help support the cause. Wisconsin State Patrol announces recruitment, hiring troopers and inspectors Cathy Kohlbeck, founder of House of Honors, was joined by Jake Vandenplas from Door County Farms for Vets and Mike Corpus of Honor and Valor Outdoors on Local 5 Live to discuss how their organizations assist local veterans and share details about the prizes available during the event.
