The council meeting tonight, another fiery one, with back and forth arguments between public commenters, council members, the mayor, and the only mayoral candidate. "They did a motion to provide direction, or not provide direction to the City Manager, to not call a special meeting." said Arvin City Attorney Nathan Hodges. If that is not done, the seat is set to remain vacant until the next election on November 2026.
