Image: Lexington County Sheriff's Department (Suspect pictured: 19 year old Louis Alfonso Mouhteros, Jr. ) West Columbia, SC (WOLO) — A West Columbia man is behind bars tonight after authorities say he was arrested October 17 by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department on Child Sexual Abuse Material Charges. South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson made the announcement Tuesday evening. Investigators with the Attorney General’s Office says they arrested 19 year old Louis Alfonso Mouhteros, Jr. on two charges connected to the sexual exploitation of minors. Authorities say the investigation started when officials received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) leading them to Mouhteros who is accused of distributing files of child sexual abuse material. Mouhteros is charged with two counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor in the second degree. If found guilty of the allegations he faces up to 10 years in prison for each count.   Categories: Local News, News, Politics, Richland
