LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)– 29 former Kentucky men’s basketball’s players are on an NBA roster for opening day.
2024 marks the 13th year in a row where Kentucky has led the pack with that statistic, which includes two-way and inactive players.
Two thirds of NBA teams feature a Wildcat on their squad and eight of them have more than one in its ranks.
Four Cats from the most recent UK team are joining the association for their first time with both top-10 draft picks, Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham at the forefront.
