(KRON) -- A Suisun City man was arrested on Monday in connection with a shooting that happened on Sept. 17, the Suisun City Police Department said. The suspect was identified as 24-year-old Shaheed James. He is accused of shooting at a 23-year-old victim both inside and outside a business on the 800 block of Sunset Avenue. The victim arrived injured at a hospital and eventually survived. According to SCPD detectives, the suspect and victim encountered each other inside the business before the suspect took out his gun and started firing. James was on parole from Nevada at the time of the shooting. SCPD collaborated with the U.S. Marshals to find and arrest him in Suisun City. He was charged with attempted murder, shooting into an inhabited dwelling and absconding from parole supervision.
