Temperatures are falling to the mid-40s by early morning. We'll have a slight increase in clouds, making us partly cloudy in the morning as a weak weather system moves closer. Still, though, we'll have some sunshine peeking through during the day and high temps rise to the upper 70s in the afternoon. Another warm October afternoon is coming our way. This next system limps its way in from the Great Plains and may bring a scattered shower or two for our Tuesday evening into late night, but any showers will be widely scattered. We'll have some breezy moments with SW gusts up to 25 mph. Winds pick up during the day and they'll be gusty, at times. On Wednesday, a cold front moves through, bringing rain to parts of Michigan, but leaving our area dry. However, you'll notice conditions, again, becoming breezy. This time, our winds will be from the NW, gusting up to 25 mph. Wednesday's highs will still be able to hit 70° and will rise slightly above that mark in some spots. Like Tuesday, Wednesday will have gusty moments, too. On Wednesday, though, winds will be coming from the northwest. Colder fall air rushes in behind the front and high temps will be back at seasonal levels on Thursday, in the low 60s. Friday brings another slight rain chance with another frontal system moving through, which will feed in cooler air for the weekend, when we'll be in the low-to-mid-60s for highs.
