LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — A man is facing multiple charges after allegedly robbing a woman inside of her apartment last night in Lexington. According to an arrest citation, 56-year-old Ronald Hill allegedly forced his way into an apartment on Red Mile Road while armed with a gun. Police say Hill then assaulted a woman and took about $380 from her purse before fleeing the scene. Authorities say a witness reportedly saw the argument and proceeded to follow Hill. Hill then allegedly fired shots toward the witness. The arrest citation says Hill allegedly tried to hide the gun before getting arrested. While in custody, Hill reportedly tried to “drop and destroy” a bag of suspected crack cocaine. Hill now faces several charges, including first-degree wanton endangerment and burglary, trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. He’s being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
