HILLIARD, Ohio (WCMH) - A winery featuring a selection of wines and food is now open in Hilliard. Firefly Winery is welcoming customers at 5435 Franklin St. The winery recently had its grand opening last week after months of construction since its announcement in 2023. The Westwood Collective, a Hilliard-based developer, also helped with building the location as well. The 4,500-square-foot location is described as an "urban winery" serving a menu full of wine from reds, whites and fruit wines to iced wine slushies. Firefly also has an assortment of food to choose from including charcuterie boards, breads, cheeses, small bites, dips and more. Look inside: Nearly $3 million Upper Arlington estate The location of the winery is also part of Hilliard's Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area, where customers can take their alcoholic drinks to other establishments in the surrounding area downtown. The winery will have a walk-up window. Hours for Firefly Winery are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 9 p.m., Fridays from 3 to 10 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 10 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 8 p.m. The winery is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
