OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A great turnout for an even greater cause as the Susan G. Komen foundation hosted its annual "More Than Pink" Walk Saturday morning, supporting those who are fighting or have been impacted by breast cancer. The community gathered together at Bicentennial Park Saturday morning as nearly 2,000 people participated in the event to raise funds towards breast cancer research, patient care services and other Komen initiatives. Participants were able to get their legs pumping with a pre-walk warmup, followed by a ceremony that gave local survivors and those currently living with breast cancer the opportunity to speak in front of those in attendance. The More Than Pink Walk raised over $60K towards breast cancer research and patient services.
