Carson City Harvest Train Festival returns today and Sunday to Nevada State Railroad Museum

All aboard this Saturday and Sunday for some fall family fun. The annual Harvest Train Festival will pull into the station at the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City, bringing two full days of train rides and autumn-inspired activities, including pumpkin patch, petting zoo (on Saturday only), crafts hosted by Messy Kids Art School, and carnival-style games hosted by local non-profits.
Happening Saturday, Oct. 19 and Sunday, Oct. 20, families can enjoy 30-minute rides on the Virginia & Truckee Locomotive No. 25 steam engine and the 1875 Glenbrook locomotive. Both trains will run from 10:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Rides are unlimited with the purchase of a wristband.

Standard museum admission and train ride fares will also be available. Please purchase your wristbands and/or tickets at the museum on the day of your visit.
