Police are searching for the driver of a white box truck in the wake of a fatal hit-and-run in Brooklyn Friday morning. The victim, an unidentified man, was crossing DeKalb Ave. midblock near Wyckoff Ave. in Bushwick when the truck driver struck him around 9:38 a.m., cops said. Medics rushed the victim to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center located just two blocks away from where he was struck. He was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said. A bloodstain was spotted about 10 feet away from the crosswalk on DeKalb Ave. along with a pair of glasses, a sneaker and a medical foot cast. The crash is being investigated by the NYPD’s Highway Collision Investigation Squad.
