OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Two people have been arrested after 47.5 pounds of uncut cocaine was found during a traffic stop on I-40. According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, deputies with the Criminal Interdiction Team of Central Oklahoma (CITCO) arrested David Gutierrez and Diana Delgado, both from California, after they were stopped on I-40 on Tuesday. Sheriff's Office. During the stop, deputies found suitcases of cocaine in Delgado's rental car after she agreed to let deputies search the vehicle. Cocaine found during traffic stop. "Often, cocaine is cut with fentanyl before it is sold", Sheriff Tommie Johnson said, "There's no telling how many lives our deputies saved by getting this poison off the streets." Officials say CITCO is a partnership between the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office and the Oklahoma City Police Department.
