NFL Week 7 got underway last night with the Broncos led by Sean Payton going into what used to be one of the toughest places to play in the league, the Caesars Superdome, and thumping the Saints 33-10. But last night, Caesars was mostly quiet aside for a few boos aimed at Payton won a Super Bowl for the Saints. The Broncos run game essentially stole the show last night from the start taking an early lead and did not let off the gas. The Saints showed no fight in this one, and there may be a few reasons for it. They’ve been hit hard by injuries, including to starting QB Derek Carr, and these short weeks can be tough on a team. But Dennis Allen’s Saints team played uninspired and during the halftime show, Richard Sherman believed the team was playing to have him fired. The Saints have now lost five games in a row after opening up the season with two wins.
