Central Ohio Weather and Radar QUICK WEATHER FORECAST: Today: Few clouds, high 61 Tonight: Patchy frost, clear, low 37 Friday: Mild & sunny, high 67 Saturday: Warming up, high 72 Sunday: Mostly sunny, high 73 Monday: Clear skies, high 74 FORECAST DISCUSSION: Good Thursday afternoon! Mostly sunny skies have settled into Central Ohio, a nice relief from the gloomy way we started off the work week. Starting today, temperatures will begin to warm up as we head into the weekend. This morning, all of Central Ohio either reached freezing or dipped below it. After the first freeze of the season, it likely brings an end to the Frost/Freeze program for the year. For the rest of today, most of us will be climbing into the lower 60s. It is still cooler than normal for this time of year, but a decent amount warmer than the past couple of days. Tonight, temperatures will return to the mid to upper 30s. Some frost on the ground is possible to start off Friday, but sunshine and warmer temperatures will help to melt that pretty quickly. We're pushing into the upper 60s for Friday afternoon, giving us a taste of more "seasonable" weather for this time of year. The weekend sees the 70s return to the area under plenty of sunshine. For the final day of the Circleville Pumpkin Show, it'll feel more like late summer than fall. For runners in the Nationwide Children's Half & Full Marathon Sunday morning, temperatures will start in the lower 40s, but climb to the mid 70s by the afternoon. For the first half of next week, temperatures will remain warmer than normal in the mid to lower 70s. Plenty of sunshine sticks around to start off the work week. By Wednesday, a few clouds will start to build back into the area. -Joe
