(Courtesy of Nebraska 511)LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 17)–First Responders have been at the scene of a large wildfire that started northeast of Lincoln late Thursday morning, which prompted a large fire response from neighboring communities. A post on “X” from the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said the fire appeared to have started in a field near Highway 6 and 148th Street, which would be on the northeastern corner of Waverly and spread to the Lancaster County Line, near 190th and Mill Road.  Traffic was shutdown on Highway 6 from 148th Street in Lancaster County to Church Road in western Cass County, near Greenwood.
