Many of you, likely, have been wearing your winter pajamas and adding more blankets to your bed - all with good reason! By daybreak, if not a little before, we'll see temps drop slightly below freezing. A Freeze Warning is in effect through 9 am. Temps fall to freezing, and just below, across northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio as Thursday begins. The freezing conditions are produced courtesy of winds becoming nearly calm and only a few scattered clouds in the sky. Thursday morning's low temperatures will be just below freezing in many spots. A gradual warming trend continues on Thursday as our winds become southwesterly, sending in warmer air. High temperatures break out of the 50s in the afternoon with highs reaching the lower 60s. On Friday, it gets even warmer with a high near 70°. Friday night football games, though, will have a chill in the air. Temps start off around 60° and fall into the 50s. Friday night football will have a fall chill this week. Weekend high temps will be in the 70s both days. This above average temperature trend continues into early next week with highs in the 70s through Wednesday. Morning: FREEZE WARNING. Mostly clear with temperatures slightly below freezing.
